Thanksgiving morning, 300 runners gathered at the Morris Memorial for the 40th annual Ray Barbuti Turkey Trot. The 300 participants ran or walked the youth mile/community walk or 5k road race.
The registration fee included a $1 donation, plus a nonperishable food item, to be donated to the Chatham Area Silent Food Pantry. The money raised and food collected was dropped off at the pantry by Morris Memorial after school participants.
