Fee: $80.00 per child. $70.00 for additional siblings. ($20 additional fee for late registrations).
Rec. Season: December 5th, 2026-February 13th, 2027

What is an Open Gym?? A chance for children to come see what our program is all about. Players do not have to register to attend open gyms. Unsure of joining? Come try it out first!

Travel Basketball: 3rd-4th & 5th-6th grade travel teams will be organized and determined based on amount of interest. Travel teams are organized for more competitive play, and may include a try-out. All players involved with the travel program are also required to participate in the recreational program.

5th-6th Boys Travel Basketball Try-Outs:

This year’s 5th-6th grade boys travel team will be selected by coaches using open-gyms as player assessments for those interested.

An additional fee will be required to assist with referee fees. Cost: TBD

Volunteer coaches receive one free registration. When registering online, please first obtain your discount code from Michael West

We will be ordering reversible basketball jerseys for all players once registrations are all received.

Schedule by Division – Recreational Basketball Boys & Girls 1st-6th:

Volunteer coaches will teach foundational basketball skills and impart basketball knowledge to boys and girls in Grades 1-6. Coaches will lead practice one weekday evening and organize Saturday games in the gymnasium at the Morris and CCSD gymnasiums.

The 2026-2027 Morris Recreational Basketball Program will begin on December 5, 2026 and end on February 13, 2027.

Weekday practice schedules are determined primarily by volunteer coaches’ availability and will be provided as soon as possible. Practices will be determined on a monthly basis as soon as each month’s CCSD schedule is released providing the Morris with available gym times.

Saturday games by Division

Chatham Middle School Gymnasium:

5th-6th Boys – 8:30am-9:30am
3rd-4th & 5th-6th Girls – 9:45am-10:45am (Subject to modification depending on numbers).
3rd-4th Boys – 11:00am-12:00pm

Morris Memorial Gymnasium:

(Subject to change depending on number of participants from each gender / grade. Ex. Last season supported 6 co-ed teams of players rotating between 8:30am-9:30pm, 9:45am-10:45am & 11:00am-12:00pm).
